Nine Services We Will Provide For You

1. Continous Updating of Your Financial Road Map

The following important concepts come together in a financial road map interview:

1. What's important to you?

2. Goals you have that require money and planning to accomplish.

3. Where you are today financially.

From your financial plan, we provide an understandable strategy that gives you the best chance to get from where you are today to where you want to be in the future, and the best way to keep you there.

2. Investment Structure and Asset Allocation Strategies

We provide you the big picture about your financial situation in terms of your assets. Each asset allocation strategy is unique. The amount of cash, large company and small company stocks, real estate (this could be both residential as well as commercial), bonds, and real assets form a plan that is suited to fit your risk tolerance & income needs.

3. Quarterly Progress Meetings

Update the progress you are making towards your goals. Each category of your investments is reviewed (stocks, bonds, real estate, etc.). At these meetings, new goals are updated and any specific items needed to implement your financial plan are discussed.

4. An Implementation Plan

Is the ongoing process we use to summarize your financial plan and to identify the actions needed to ensure that your financial plan is on track.

5. Tax Planning During Your Retirement Years

This planning takes significantly more coordination and knowledge than before retirement. The reason? IRA's, 401(k)'s, and other special retirement accounts needs to be carefully managed to assure that you benefit from their tax advantages.

6. Estate Planning and Guidance

Is completed through an initial and ongoing analysis of your total assets. Although estate tax laws are always changing, it's important to discuss the steps necessary for eliminating or reducing estate taxes. This could include gifting or establishing a trust or other tax reduction strategies. Your loved ones may then inherit your assets without costly estate taxes or fees. We also work closely with your attorney to ensure you have a current will.

7. Insurance Planning

We look at your life insurance plan to ensure that you have the right amount for your situation. Many employers have valuable group insurance plans, but typically these plans don't cover the critical period in retirement when life insurance would be needed most. Additionally, we look at life insurance during your pension planning to allow the greatest joint pension possible at the lowest possible cost. Finally, long-term care insurance is analyzed to determine if this type of insurance is right for you and if so, how much is needed.

8. Cash Reserves, Emergency Funds, & Debt Planning

Making smart choices about financing a new car or truck, reducing or eliminating home or other debt, and knowing where, how much, and what type of an emergency fund is right for you can greatly improve a financial plan. We look at any and all debt and advise you of a schedule to reduce or eliminate that debt. A lower debt load is very strategic as you begin drawing funds from your assets at retirement.

9. Special Situation Planning

Covers any possible area of investment, tax planning, debt restructuring, insurance, etc. that helps you make smart choices with your money. Through our quarterly meetings we establish excellent ongoing communication with you to provide the one stop financial and tax planning desired to simplify things for both today and tomorrow.
